Sit Down and Write Write-a-thon: Wrap up

Wrap Up Post
Goal: 20,000 words
Written: 11,925 words
Acks, I only wrote slightly more than half of my goal! Goodness me... However, I felt I accomplished a lot. As I've mentioned in my earlier post, the nature of my work has kept me busy and drained. The most I can write after work is about 300-500 words but this week alone, I manage to write 11,925 words! I'm currently 26,191/50,000 words into my manuscript and YESSS I've finally manage to pass the halfway mark (even though it is already the third week...). Looking forward to the next weekend to write 10k+ words!

Sit Down and Write Write-a-thon: Day 2

I managed to write only 340 words today as I was out for the whole day due to work. Acks. I have to make it up over the next few days. Which means to say that I'm still lagging behind by 17k words. 3400 words per day, here I come!

Sit Down and Write Write-a-thon: Goals

The Write-a-thon has started! I'm actually lagging behind in my writing for August's Camp Nanowrimo. My goal for this write-a-thon is to write at least 20k words over the period of the 7 days write-a-thon. That makes it about 3k words per day. Let's see how many words I wrote today: 2896. Close enough. :D

Sit Down and Write Write-a-Thon

I'm participating in the August Camp NaNoWriMo. That's the second time I'm joining the writing month (and I haven't finished writing for my June's camp...) So, I'm starting a new story but it's a fan fiction for now. I have not planned anything for this story and I'm going to just write whatever that comes into my mind. I tend to get disheartened by outlines for some reason. Turns out that progress is a little faster than writing with an outline! So I guess I'm heading in the right direction.

By the way, you don't have to be writing a story to join this write-a-thon! You can also write book reviews or even thesis! Just write anything!

Starting and end times are the usual:  Monday (8/20) 12:01am CST until Sunday (8/26) 11:59pm CST.

Have fun writing!
